God wants us to have faith that we will do go regardless of the awsners we get.Take, for example, in Ether 3, the brother of Jared was commaned to build a boat.Through prayer the brother of Jared was given directions; and he followed those directions perfectly. Despite this the boat still had problems! they couldn't see, steer, or breath!Personally if I was in that postion I would have wondered if I had actually recived revelation as God inteneded for me. However the brother of Jared had faith and went to God in prayer to ask for directions. God gave him further instructions because of his faith.In order for God to speak to us we need faith that no matter how small it seems he will awnser us.

Starting a business is one way that many people find more fulfillment in their careers and in their lives. However, there are risks and struggles that someone might face while starting a business. For this reason, aspiring entrepreneurs choose to create a smaller business that someone can do in their free time; Internet users refer to this as a side hustle. Throughout my time in college, I have tried many different types of side hustles, and it’s helped me to develop skills in areas I am passionate about, develop my resume more, and even helped me to earn a little extra cash as a second income stream. Every college student should consider starting a side hustle to develop their personal brand.

Everyone has a personal brand. This brand is what employers use to decide who to hire. However, schooling is not enough for current industries. Recent surveys revealed that employers avoid hiring recent graduates who have no experience in the industry. However, many entry-level roles require experience. This creates a paradox where recent graduates need experience in an industry to be considered for a job, but on the other hand, A recent graduate needs a job to gain experience. However, one way to avoid this is by starting a side business.Here are some of the skills and notes that someone could put on a resume from the experience that a side hustle brings:

As you develop a following on social media, Others can see you as a thought leader, which is marketable to employers and potential partners. You make money by making sponsored posts and affiliate marketing. The best part about this business model is that it requires no money to start.Window Washing: Though there will be minimal start-up costs to buy the window cleaning supplies, this business model has a low start-up cost. It just requires you to start knocking on doors and asking if you can wash their windows for them.Curb painting: This is very similar to the last business. Buy supplies to paint curbs and knock on doors.Drop shipping: Drop shipping includes finding a supplier to ship a product, and you create a promotion for the product. Once a customer buys the product from your promotion, you will then fill out the suppliers ‘ship to’ form with the customer's information. This business model can also have a high start-up cost for college students. However, the time necessary to start a business like this can be great for the flexibility required for college.Stock/ Crypto investing: This is great for a student because it requires minimal skill and minimal research on strategies to develop. One can do this short-term (Day trading) or long-term (Investing). However, if done incorrectly, it can be a way to lose a lot of money.There are a lot of side hustles that one can create. The great part about starting a business is that it can help you discover what you are enthusiastic about. Throughout my attempts to start a business, I have discovered many passions and skills that I didn’t know were a possibility for me. Growing up, I had ADHD, so it was hard for me to read and write. Because of this, I always had the belief that I wasn’t good at writing. Starting a business led me to discover that not only do I enjoy writing, but I am also quite talented at it. College students can find this fulfillment and peace as well.

If a business fails, it can cause an individual to lose the money invested in start-up costs. This could also affect your self-confidence. Many business owners admit to feeling ‘impostor syndrome’ or having the feeling that they are not good enough/ have the skills to be successful. Starting a business puts a person's brand at risk for ridicule and the loss of authority in a certain area. Conclusion

Every person should consider a second source of income. It helps a person find more meaning in life and can bring more stability. Recently, I met a business owner who had a side hustle while working a full-time job. Unfortunately, this individual, after a decade of employment, was separated from their job. However, because he had a side hustle, he was able to switch to the side business full-time. However, despite the risk of starting the business, it ended up being more stable than the job he had.
